How long does delivery take?

We normally deliver around 2 working days from when an order is placed, and in many cases we are able to deliver on a next working day basis; however availability will depend on a number of factors such as other orders which are due and the time of day you place an order.  We normally view 12:00 as the cut off time if you require an order to arrive the following day.  If you have an urgent consignment, please have us confirm expected delivery time before you place an order.

For new customers who do not have an established trading history with our company, we ask for payment upfront for the first few orders, either by credit/debit card or by proforma invoice by way of BACS, cheque, CHAPS and so forth.  Customers who do not have an account with us can expect the same delivery times as those who do, but please note we will base delivery on the date when payment clears, rather than the date an order is placed.

We are able to offer a same-day service when the requirement arises, which it does from time to time (for example, when a water plant fails).  The delivery charge for a same day service is always passed onto the customer at cost price.  We will use one of a number of third party couriers who offer a same day service.  We have worked with all of them for a long time and will ring around on your behalf to get the most competitive price.  You may wish to source your own courier or collect from us.  Collections and use of another courier is absolutely fine.
