25L Water Container

The 25L water container is made from HDPE (High Density Polyurethane) are referred to as Square-Round water containers and/or Poly Drums.

We prefer supplying our high quality water products in 25L water containers as opposed to 50L water containers because they are much easier and safer to handle, although 50L water containers are available on request.  Having said this, 25L water containers are still reasonably heavy, so we don’t recommend people planning to shift great numbers of them all at once.  The water alone weighs 25Kg, with a little more for the container.

Pallet-wise, we can fit 36 x 25l water containers on a pallet.  This is done using 3 layers of 12 containers.  Each layer of 12 containers is 4 units long by 3 units across.  The pallets we provide come wrapped in pallet wrapped and strapped for safety during transportation.  Pallet wrapping really is an art which can only be learned through trial and error, and the people in our warehouse are experts at packing and dispatching high quality water products, be they small consignments or larger, palletised ones.

Our 25L water containers are UN approved and certified.  The manufacturer of these products can supply independently certified test results to show that the containers they are supplying meet a specific quality standard.  Testing involves subjecting containers at random to activities such as strength and drop tests.  These specific containers are often used to transport chemicals, both hazardous and non-hazardous, which have strict legislation concerning their transportation.  As water is a non-hazardous product we only use these 25l water containers for their quality and ease of use, although it is still important to use certified containers as they are less likely to leak if the product is dropped, reducing the chances of delay in the supply process.
