Water IBC (1000L Water Container)

Each 1000 Litre water container is perfectly suited to warehousing and every water IBC can be handled and transported in the same way as a pallet.  They fit within normal pallet racking and can be transported in the same way a wooden pallet is transported; using apparatus such as a pallet truck or a fork lift truck.

Our standard size Intermediate Bulk Container of water is 1,000L, however if a customer specifically requests another size, we can supply in these also.  Some alternative sizes of Intermediate Bulk Containers of water include 640 litres, 820 litres and 1250 litres.  Obviously these will be smaller/larger depending on the volume of liquid being stored.  The 1250 litre containers are a little taller at 1350mm, so please ensure you have sufficient head room to account for this if you are using pallet racking.

Generally, we find the 1000L water IBC to be the cheapest, so in many cases, even if a customer only wants us to part-fill the container, this works out as cheaper option than selling in a smaller container.  Furthermore, it is perfectly safe to pour any volume of water down the drain, so customers sometimes order 1000L water from us and whatever they don’t use, simply pour away – so there aren’t any expensive disposal costs.

The standard outlet for the water IBC is a DIN 50 (2 inch male BSP thread), unless a different one is specified by the customer.
