Are any of your products suitable for human injection?
No. None of our products are suitable for human injection. Water which is suitable for human injection is known as Water for Injection, or WFI. WFI can be used to dilute or dissolve drugs so that they may be injected intravenously. As one would expect, there are strict regulations surrounding the manufacture and supply of this product. For example, water for injection has to be stored at much higher temperature than other purified water types to maintain quality. There is also strict emphasis on the water quality and the whole procedure of manufacture and supply needs to be carefully validated with in-process controls.

According to European Pharmacopoeia, the only allowed method to manufacture this type of water will be distillation (in contrast to the US Pharmacopoeia, which also allows reverse osmosis). At present, we do not have any intention at The-Water-Company.com to start manufacturing water which is suitable for injection, primarily because we have neither an industrial distillation plant, nor a Reverse Osmosis plant.
We can however supply other high purity types of water, including water which conforms to the specification set down by European Pharmacopeia. Please contact us to discuss your specific water requirements. In most cases, we can supply water which is suitable for the majority of applications, so long as the application is not something like water for injection or water for consumption by either humans or other animals. If you are not completely sure which product you require, please contact us for further information and we can have one of our technical experts advise you.
