Synthetic seawater is commonly used to simulate an environment of real seawater, without the need to of physically going to the sea.  It is used most often to test the effects of sea water on a range of substances, such as plastics and metals.  Coatings may also be tested, along with paints.  We have supplied a number of customers with synthetic sea water, including the National Rivers Authority and the Environment Agency.

Just as seawater can change around the globe, we can supply different types and grades of synthetic seawater.  We are also able to supply seawater salts as a dry mix, which can be diluted in water, allowing the customer to manufacture their own synthetic seawater.  Due to our technical expertise it is possible for us to provide pharmaceutical grade salts, and pharmaceutical grade water, which would ultimately create pharmaceutical grade seawater.
