Vehicle Water

Vehicle water extends to a wide range of different water applications.  One of the most common vehicle water applications, battery water is explored in further detail on its own web page.  There are many advantages of using purified vehicle water in car batteries.  For one, it considerably increases the life span of a battery, which makes it a cheaper solution than tap water in the long run.

Another use of vehicle water is to clean cars off once they have been washed.  This can be done with other vehicles such as boats.  This helps to prevent water spots (also referred to as ‘water spotting’).  Generally speaking, this problem tends to occur more in summer/warmer climates, as when a car is hosed down with tap water, trace amounts of salt deposits remain on the bodywork, creating an appearance of white spots on the paintwork.  Using high quality water, such as deionized water, the finish not only looks better but prolongs the life of the paintwork and provides a better surface on which to apply car wax.

Further water applications with high purity vehicle water include use in washer bottles, to provide a higher quality finish and reduce water spotting/streaking and in radiators, to eliminate the chance lime scale build up.
