Dispenser Caps

We sell dispenser caps which fit onto our 25L Water Container and Water Container 5 Litre packaging types.

Dispenser caps are manufactured from polypropylene; with the actual tap component being manufactured from high density polyethylene (high density polyethylene is often abbreviated to HDPE).  The taps have an integral airflow system, which is designed to allow air back into the container at the same time a liquid (in this case water) is being dispensed.  This stops the container from imploding, and reduces the chance of ‘glugging’ which occurs if suddenly air rushes back into the container.  This makes for safer handling and decreases the chances of liquid spillage.  Less spillage makes for less waste and less chance of slips and trips.

The dispenser caps are normally black, with the tap being red and/or white (see picture above).  They also have an integrated washer to further reduce the amount of spillage and screw onto a DIN 51 cap with a male thread.  On average, they dispense between 2 litres and 5 litres a minute.

Other caps available if requested.  We supply a cap for a 5 litre container which is essentially a scaled down version of the cap pictured.
